New technologies for natural disaster prevention, Environmental conservation, Green engineering and System engineering are the four main development directions of our department. We emphasize both theory and practical exercise, combining civil engineering together with environmental engineering in order to make the fuse of scholastic groups more smoothly, and the upgrade of skills and techniques both new and old. We not only train students to be able to make use of every limited resource, creating a high quality environment in order to meet the society's needs, but at the same time, we also endue our students with the ability to compete in national exams or further one's research after graduation.
