Undergraduate Educational Objectives

Objective 1: To equip students with the professional knowledge to integrate Civil and Environmental Engineering, and possess the ability to obtain professional certifications, pass national examinations, or pursue advanced degrees.

Objective 2: To cultivate students' practical working skills in civil and environmental fields, enabling them to meet the demands of key regional industries within the nation.

Objective 3: To foster in students a spirit of engineering ethics, effective communication, broad vision, teamwork, and lifelong learning.


Graduate Program Educational Objectives

Undergraduate Student Core Competencies Upon Graduation

Core Competency 1: The ability to possess and apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering to Civil and Environmental Engineering.

Core Competency 2: The ability to integrate professional design skills in Civil and Environmental Engineering and utilize modern tools for practical applications.

Core Competency 3: The ability to integrate information, communicate effectively, and coordinate tasks.

Core Competency 4: Understanding professional ethics, possessing a sense of responsibility, and a dedicated spirit of teamwork.

Core Competency 5: Concern for social trends and understanding the impact of Civil and Environmental Engineering technology on human civilization and environmental sustainable development.

Core Competency 1: Possessing advanced knowledge in the field of Civil Engineering and/or Environmental Engineering.

Core Competency 2: The ability to plan research, evaluate problems, interpret data, and utilize modern tools for practical applications.

Core Competency 3: The ability to communicate, coordinate, and lead/manage.

Core Competency 4: Understanding professional ethics and cultivating a dedicated spirit of leadership and teamwork.
